Workshop Wraps Tonight: Join us at 6 p.m. at the KiMo

A busy week of listening to residents and business leaders along the Central Avenue Corridor and testing ideas with design concludes with a presentation and Q&A starting at 6 p.m. at the KiMo Theater. Come check out our work.

While design distinguishes our approach from all those that have prepared the way, we’re also determined to integrate topics that determine whether or not development is feasible and whether or not development leverages opportunities for the most people. Our consulting team includes specialists in analyzing returns on municipal investment and strategies for lower cost burdens, especially for working families struggling with tight budgets.

Here are video overviews of those approaches from two of our team specialists:

For more detailed versions of their contributions, check out their presentations in Resources.

In tonight’s presentation and in greater detail in the report that summarizes all the work, you’ll also see how related specialties — civil engineering and thoroughfare design — are essential for achieving goals of sustainability, safety and mobility we gleaned from our conversations with citizens and interest groups.

If you need to get up to speed on the background for the workshop week, here is a good starting point. And you can follow each step in the workshop week by perusing the diary updates preceding this one. They’re in reverse chronological order.

Looking forward to seeing you tonight.
