Corridor Report Drafts Emerge

Our March 2017 Workshop Week pulled together recent research and previous discussions, collected stakeholder input, and identified a variety of corridor opportunities. The result is a set of nine draft chapters (seven about places and two about broader topics) that are being released for public and local government comment. In the coming months these chapters will be refined and combined and may form a potential amendment to the Route 66 Action Plan

Workshop Concludes Monday Night: A peek at what’s in the works, Part I

On Monday night, March 13, at the KiMo Theater, we’ll be wrapping up the Central Avenue Corridor Design Workshop with a presentation that includes exploratory designs for key sections along Central.

Those who attended our March 9 work-in-progress review got a preview of the tasks assigned to designers and the chance to critique their preliminary work. Over the weekend, the team is tweaking those approaches in response to what they’ve heard.
